Product Details

  • WEDGE LOCK DESIGN -  Kim-Lock washers have cams on one side. The angle of the cams is greater than the thread angle of the threaded fastener.
    Two washers are installed face-to-face.
  • HOW THEY WORK - During installation, the teeth on the other side of the washer seat against the material surfaces. When subjected to vibration, the interacting cams wedge against one another and rise, attempting to increase the tightness of the assembly and preventing loosening.
  • 316 STAINLESS STEEL CONSTRUCTION - Provides superior corrosion resistance in demanding environments.
    For use with 18-8 or 316 stainless steel fasteners.
  • VIBRATION RESISTANCE - Provides superior vibration resistance in extreme environments.
    Ideal wherever vibration and corrosion is a problem: construction equipment, farm equipment, mining, well drilling, railroad equipment, trucking and more.
