Product Details

  • All-Steel Grade C Nuts
    Produced from medium carbon steel and heat treated to meet Grade 8 performance standards.
  • Prevailing Torque Design
    Six dots at 60° intervals on the crown of the nut identify these as grade C prevailing torque nut. Three point top thread deflections (at 120° intervals in the crown of the nut), downward and inward is used to produces positive prevailing torque, meaning they are reusable even when power driven.
    • Cadmium and Wax Finish
    Immersed in industrial wax and baked dry for reduced application torque of up to 50% standard "dry" torque values. Failure to lower torque will result in thread striping or bolt yield. Provides a proven, predictable torque-tension relationship in critical, high strength applications with Grade 8 bolts.
