• HEAT SHRINK CAPS - Closed end design seals cable ends, unused connections and other end terminations.
• CREATES STRONG & PERMANENT ENVIRONMENTAL SEAL - Provides excellent resistance to weathering, moisture contamination and adverse environmental conditions.
• LARGE CAPACITY - Wide mouth allows insertion of wires or cables, with cap shrinking to adhere to size and shape of inserted item.
• SPECIAL ADHESIVE LINING - Provides seal on irregular cable sheaths.
• POSITIVE SEAL - Adhesive forms permanent bond and prevents moisture from reaching wires or cables.
• TEMPERATURE CAPABILITIES - Continuous temperature limit is -40°F to 212°F and a shrink temperature of 257°F
• HIGH RESISTANCE - Abrasion and corrosion resistant. Safe from most chemicals and solvents.
• APPLICATIONS - Connector ends, terminal ends, power cables, telecom cables, fiber optic cables, compatible with most commonly used jacket cables such as XLPE, PVC or rubber sheathed cable.
• QUICK INSTALLATION - Clean cable surface and place end cap over cable end. Heat the end seal with a heat gun or torch, starting at the closed end & moving towards the open end. When end cap is fully shrunk the sealant will flow out of the end cap indicating the seal is complete. Allow to cool.
