• Self-Threading fittings, have special tapered drive threads for fast production line installation in untapped hole, saving the tapping cost (use in heat-treated parts is not recommended).
• A leakproof permanent seal is formed because the installation force causes the material of the untapped hole to reshape conforming to the fittings contour.
• Thread forming fittings can be replaced by any standard threaded fitting or by another thread-forming fitting because it realigns damaged threads in existing holes.

• Fittings have 2 notches on the edge of the hex for easy identification.
