- O-RING SEAL SAE 37° (JIC) FLARE - A premium SAE 37° (JIC) Flare plug retrofitted with a high pressure o-ring on the sealing face; dramatically increases sealing performance and will not compromise the strength of the plug.
- ELIMINATES HYDRAULIC LEAKS - Provides a leak-proof, connection at full standard operating pressures.
- WITHSTANDS SHOCK & VIBRATION - Neutralizes torque forces and allows micro movement to occur without unwinding the connection.
- FORGED ENDS - No potential leak paths and longer fatigue life with compact design, resulting in longer service life.
- COMPATIBLE WITH ALL STANDARD SAE 37° (JIC) FLARE FITTINGS.
- TYPICAL APPLICATION: Hydraulic, instrumentation and chemical processing systems.
- PRESSURE: Up to 10,000 P.S.I. depending on tube and fitting size.
- VIBRATION RATING: Good resistance. Vibration resistance decreases with increase in tube size. Use two piece design when greater vibration resistance is required.
- TEMPERATURE RANGE: -65°F to +400° F.
- MATERIAL: Carbon steel – AISI/SAE12L14.
