The material is a half hard, cold rolled CDA 260 alloy composed of 70% copper and 30% zinc, with a Rockwell hardness of 30T 56-68 and a tensile strength of 57,000 P.S.I. It exhibits an elongation of 23% in 2 inches and meets the standards of SAE CA-260, ASTM B-19, and B-36.
