Using an existing hole in the bleeder screw, drill to the appropriate size (3/16” for 1/8 NPT, 1/4” for 1/4 NPT). Increase hole size in 1/8" increments as needed, ensuring a straight drill. Tap at least 1/2" deep, lubricate threads, and install the repair fitting, tightening to 30-35 foot pounds. Check for leaks post-installation. Minimum stock around the hole should be 1/8".
